| I need help , my T's last molt didn't go so well that I had to remove the exoskeleton myself because it was it's 3rd day into molt and It's exoskeleton is still stuck so I decided that I need to remove it so it would survive, I still don't know how to determine it's sex. And it haven't ate in almost a week. What should I do make it eat again I tried squishing out the juice from superworms and putting it in a small container placing in front of it, but still no response, I tried live lats but still the same result. It's still moving like it used to like it sometimes sprints when I open it's cage the only problem is it's appetite. Thank you for your responses. | |

Thank you for your responses. Are there no other noticeable physical defects? If none, then I'd say your L. parahybana is just stressed. Plus I think its exoskeleton has not yet fully hardened, hence it would not accept food. I suggest leaving the T alone for a while to avoid causing more stress - remove its prey and just provide a source of water.

It's ok, parang ang healthy naman ng L. parahybana mo eh, wala namang physical deformities at defects maliban nalang sa missing pedipalp. Tsaka yung abdomen niya hindi naman emaciated. Kahit ilang weeks (possibly even months) na walang food ok lang yan as long as may water na available at all times. Stressed out lang talaga siguro siya. I assume na for pictorial purposes mo lang nilagay ang enclosure niya sa labas, pero kung dyan talaga nakalagay, i-transfer mo sir sa darker area.
