Giant Huntsman Spider - "Heteropoda maxima"
This spider has officially been named the largest spider in the World by leg-span. The Goliath birdeater may be the largest by mass. It appears to be a cave dweller and was discovered in Laos in 2001.
Description:
Leg-span reaches 25 to 30 cm. with a body of 46 mm. This diameter makes it the largest spider, as far as leg span goes, taking the title from the Goliath bird eating spider. However the Goliath bird eating spider is still the biggest spider in terms of mass due to it's large body and thick legs.

There's a relative sp here in our country w/c grows up to 10'' in legspan... I just grow tired of having that as a pet... masyado matakaw at hirap hawakan dhL sobra biLis nkkatakas hahaha

Our own Huntsman sp. here n d PhiL. can reach 10-11'' in Legspan. . .

yung sa bahay dba huntsman din..? yung kilala sa tawag na gagambang pari.. yung pag kinuha mu yung itlog na hawak nya.. tapos may number daw don.. tapos tayaan mu daw sa lotto wahahahaha....
