Caught a huntsman spider holding a white disc shaped object (egg sac?) awhile ago sa garahe..never pkc ako nag alaga ng tarantula kaya hnd pko nkakakita ng actual egg sac. I'm just wondering now kung normal for it to have a flat abdomen and how long will it take for the eggsac to hatch? hayaan ko lang po ba ung egg sac sknya? any advice po sa pag aalaga. maraming salamat! Very Happy

cge po hahayaan ko nlang cgro ung egg sac til mapisa. Hnd ko rin maimagine kc kung paano ko ma-pull out ung egg sac sa hunstman eh ambilis tumakbo nun. katakot pa nman itsura.hehe Very Happy

question lang sir IanC, what are your plan with the slings if ever n mapisa? baka mamatay lang sila lahat at maubos... mas ok pa cguro pakawalan ung mom with her eggsack... opinion ko lng po.

yan din iniisip ko last night sir ice nung ni-rehouse ko xa. if ever na mapisa eh sbra dami nun pra alagaan ko. gusto ko sna alagaan lang ung mom tlga kaso ang nahuli ko nman eh may egg sac. kung papakawalan ko cgro sa malayo sa bahay nmen. ayoko rin nman na bahayan ng 200pcs na hunstman slings ang bahay nmen. hehe

pro honestly gusto ko sna makita kung pano sya manghuli ng prey eh..hehe cyclops

i have a friend i will share his experiences regarding on taking care of huntsman with eggsac,kapag lumabas na mga slings hinahayaan niya lang battle of the fittest kumbaga hanggang sa may matirang 3 or 2 piraso ng slings hinahayaan niya lang mag cannibalized kasi sa sobrang dami ang hirap irehouse ng mga yun Smile

Agree with icemanx2, mas maganda sila nakikitang nasa labas lang nag huhunt ng insects at ibang mga pest.
