Advice about arboreal spec...

mga boss im planning to add arboreal spec. na t's,meron ako regalis peru di daw yun pang begginer kasi ma liksi daw...ano ma suggest nyo na arboreal na di masilan alagaan at good pang display?plan ko versicolor sana or avicularia miranda...sabi nila ma silan daw versicolor mahirap daw...bigyan nyo po ako ng spec. n t's na di ma silan alagaan at good for display...thnx pep

You can try psalmopoeus sp. May avic huriana ako before na bigla na lang namatay after 4th molt na Sads ata. Avics are docile pero medyo maselan you need much higher humidity with lots of vents for air to pass. I think this goes to most of arboreal, imagine tree spider sila mas mahangin pag nasa itaas ka diba? Ang pokies like your regalis ay hindi lang maliksi very potent din ang venom nila kaya doble ingat. Di ko lang sure kung may avic miranda or baka poecilotheria miranda yung tinutukoy mo? Hth

Bro, I won’t discourage you to get an avic versicolor but I would suggest if it’s going to be your FIRST I mean FIRST avic, try to get another SP ng avic and wag muna versicolor. In this case, try to learn its behavior and needs. First avic ko was Purpurea, tried to learn from it before I jump sa versicolor. Napalaki ko un purpurea and she is now around 4” (after 1 year) estimate DLS so nag jump na ako sa versicolor. Bumili ako ng 3 and then less than two months… DEADs lahat…. Badtrip! Two was naging pagkain ng lats and the other one, nag fall yata sa SAD kasi pag molt, after ilan days dead narin. I give them lots of vent holes then wet lagi un substrate and nilalagay ko pa sila sa ibabaw ng water dish para malamig pa just like what I did sa purpurea ko but mukhang ibang klase talaga un versicolor. Eh! So suggest ko bro, wag ka muna mag versicolor if wala ka pang experience sa ibang SP ng avics baka mawalan ka ng gana mag alaga ng T’s pag namatay versicolor mo (katulad ko).

meron ako nagustuhan alagaan na arboreal T's kaso sobrang selan nakaka 2 na ko... deads plge.. 1k++ each..

nde naman sa dinidiscourage kita mg alaga.. the point is to reseach on your own.. pag didiskarte ka lng ng not the usual un na un itanong mo sa my experience... tulad nyan mg aalaga ka ng arboreal.. ok naman mg alaga ng versi agad basta handa ka sa mangyayari.. set up ng lalagyan.. ventilation and humidity.. maintenance etc... kung sa tingin mo un requirements pra mgalaga ng versi ay kaya mong gampanan go.. pero kung my alinlangan ka pa.. mg Psalmopoeus ka muna try mo muna un trinidad chevron..(affordable na arboreal astig un patterns) pag kinaya mo siang buhayin.. explore on other species.. ako Psalmopoeus irminia ang una kong inalagaan na arboreal.. kaso nabadmolt sia... after nun ng versi na ko.. nagmature na sia gang sa namatay na virgin hehehe.. base sa experience ko.. patok sia sa set up na ginawa ko.. sa ventilation and humidity kaya nakasurvive kahit mejo mainit sa kwarto ko..

Share ko lang po.. base on my own experience maselan po talaga un mga Avics. nagkaroon ako ng Avic. Versicolor once and hopefully napalaki ko sya up to 4 inches (Female sya btw) - tapos nabenta ko na kailangan ng pera eh.. eheheh.. .. So far never ko na experience na ma bad molt. Siguro nasa set up ng terrarium / enclosure un formula para sa successful housing ng Arboreal T's... No need po ng Fancy gadgets basta maintain mo un humidity & ventilation ng enclosure gaya ng nasabi ng mga bosing natin d2 sa PEP9.

+ 100 po sa lahat ng nagbigay ng comment tama po kayong lahat .. Basa. Basa po tayo ng mga caresheets.. Mas Maganda na i- mimic natin un natural environmnet ng mga T's bago tayo kumuha ng T's na aalagaan..

I suggest Arborel T's like:
OBT- Parang semi terres / arboreal.. Un sakin kc naging arboreal eh.. heheh (Super Kunat) - nabenta ko na din..
Psalmopoeus Sp... kaso prone sa Bad Molt.
