how to hatch lateraris eggs.

i started my lateraris colony since MAY about 200pcs. mixed, nasa mga 50 ung male and about 150 na ung adults dun. ever since binibigyan ko cla ng orange every now & then. after a while, i started 2 collect their eggs. until now madami na ung eggs sa bin ko, which is in a 3x3inch na plastic container w/ moisted moss as bedding. but unfortunately till now wala pa na hatch dun sa mga eggs. can any 1 help me with my hatching problem... pls.. sir pde nyu po try moist coco peat nlang po gumana po sakin un, pero ngaun po iniiwan ko nlang po cla sa enclosure eh katamad na kc kunin, w8 ka lang po sir mga 5-6months dadami po yan lats nyu wag nyu lang po papakaen until then

pwede kya iwanan ko nlng ung eggs dun sa enclosure then imoist ko nlng ung half ng substrate, taz ung half sa area ng kainan nila. dry nlng. ok kya un?

ang problema sa moist subtrate -- gustong gusto ng mga mites... yung mga eggs ba hindi naman kulubot? kasi ako room temperature ok naman.. nappipisa naman. minsan sa likod ng ref pero wag sa mismong makina ng ref - maluluto yung egg pag ganun.

pwede din bro pero mas maganda kung gagawa ka na lang ng lalagyan nila ng pagkain para iwas na din sa fungus or amag... wait mo lang yan bro at mapipisa din yan.. Very Happy

ah ok. wat if d nalang collectahin ung mga eggs. taz i moist ko nlng ung bark. bark kc gamit ko instead of egg trays. taz may seperate nko na lalagyanan ng pagkain, and water gel na separate pra hindi mainclude sa moisting. then i use coco peat as substrate..

Much better if you will separate the eggs from the colony.. mas madali mong matutukan and its easy to get nymphs for your slings. madali lang naman mag hatch eh. keep it humid and high temp like an incubator. 1 to 2 weeks mapisak na yan.. Put it on the top of your t.v while watching. to keep it humid lagay k ng bedding then basain mo tapos lagay mo n sa t.v mo..o kaya isang spray lang tapos lagay mo n sa t.v.. o kaya kung napapagod k ng kaka spray lagay k nalang ng basang basahan o papel o dyaryo. iwan mo dun tapos painitin mo lang mag momoist n yun.

ako start plang ako ng mag lats pero madami akong nabasa n ganito ginagawa nila..

bro wag ka mag misting, just put a water supply para sa kanila, yung akin nilalagyan ko ng waterer ng manok tapos mas mesh/screen lang para hindi sila malunod, kahit wala na substrate, egg crates lng ok na.. you should keep your colony dry, kasi tendency nya worms, mites and flies mamahay sa enclosure mo..

kung gusto mo naman eseparate yung eggs para madali makakuha ng nymphs, lagay mo lang sa delicup, with your room temperature it will hatch. no misting needed. The time the egg will hatch depends on its environment. ako I've been collecting some eggs from my colony, nilalagay ko lang talaga sa delicup and pinapabayaan.. chenicheck ko lang kung nag hatch na or wala pa..

pag nag lagay ka ng cocopeat as bedding, it is too tricky pag dumating yung time na maglilinis ka, a moist cocopeat can also cause molds pag merong mga uneaten foods na natira sa enclosure mo.

to show an example eto yung colony ko with water supply,(meron ako kasing colony na they only get water from veggies and fruits that I provide them)

Planning to breed LATS para sa PEST ko...
Meron npo ako paglalagyan ng LATS.
Plastic Container na may dyaryo at egg tray pero hindi ko alam kung paano mag-breed...

Ok napo ba ang pakainan na ceramic tpos ung inuminan ng mga hamsters???

Humidity ang kailangan mo bro.. kaya kailangan mong basain mo i moist kasi combination ng water at hot air ang humidity.. parang mainit n mamamsamasa. kaso mong sobrahan ng basa.. kahit konti lang.. gawin mo kuha k ng malinis n delicup. then kuha k o gupit k ng tela n kasya para gawin mong bedding sa loob. then pag nakapag gupit k na basain mo ng konti then put it inside the delicup. tapos ipatong mo dun yung mga eggs. tapos isara mo then pag manonood k ng t.v ipatong mo minsa.. wag sa mg sobrang init ha.. basta mainit init lang para ma evaporate yung tubig sa basahan at mag build-up ang humidity sa loob. mag momoist yung buong delicup mo halos hindi mo n makikita yung loob. tapos try mo check kung may napisa.. pag may nakita k ng nymph ilipat mo yung nymph sa isang lalagyan para hindi k mahirapan kumuha pag kakain n yung slings mo.. iwan mo lang ulit yung hindi p napipisa sa delicup then iwan mo ulit sa mainit n lugar.. ganun lang.. tapos yung mga nymph sympre need mong lagyan ng cat food or oatmeal.

No need. you don't need to mist your egg cup either. as long as you have waterdish sa bin mo, it will add humidity na. Do not spray directly to the eggs/egg cup. pag nasobrahan yan lalo na at may substrate ka, magpipyesta ang mites, flies, molds.

Always make sure that you have ample food sa colony mo to avoid the adults from eating the eggs.

as of now nilagay ko ssila sa computer monitor ko ngkaron sya ng moist sa container Very Happy

, btw un tela na binasa ko na tuyo na babasain ko parin ba ulit?
