may nahuli ako nung isang araw na nung nakagat ako e namanhid at tumigas ung balat ko sa daliri hahaha

anung klaseng ant kaya to to?

napansin ko ayaw niya ng moisture e kaya sa sand ko nilagay hahaha

good news may nakapag-id n ng maayos.

it's a species of trap-jaw ant, diko nga lang alam kung anu specifically. i'll research more later. at guess what? hindi siya winged male, it's a queen trap-jaw pala, naconfirm ko lang after she deposited eggs sa sand Very Happy

Ahh yan pala ang queen nila, dami din kasi nyan dito sa amin, may mga walang wings at meron din may mga wings, akala ko soldier yan kasi pag naglilipat sila ng supplies nila nakabantay ang mga winged ants same as that.

Anlakas ng kagat ng mga yan, I noticed pag kakagat sila may click na sound ka maririnig.

Anyway, thanks for the info though, now I know what they are called now.
