Depende ho sa sp. nyo po, if gus2 nila dry, then iPad dry mo pa ung peat, if they want it moist, then pwede na ho ilagay,.. Depende ho sa dami ng tubing na hi also mo sa brick..ako ho, may technique ho ako para Hindi sobrang basa ung peat: 1.poke a deep hole sa center ng brick.. 2. Then fill a liter bottle with water, then slowly pour water into the hole,(pour, then wait for the brick to absorb the water, then pour agen..) 3.watch it expand slowly as u pour. 4.it will come to a point na sobrang expand na ung brick, na Mkikita m na ung parang gaps in between the 4 layers, (ung brick kc, kinompress na apat na layer ng coco peat kc.. Makikita mo na ung division ng layers..) then, with ur hands, gently break apart the coco peat... 5.ayun, tamang-tama LNG ho ung pgkamoist, at ma use na directly.. I learned this trick from my helper sa Bahay, sya kc nagaalaga ng mga tanim d2 sa Bahay.. Hahaha Thanks

| hi sir sid, ibabad mo lang muna sa tubig ung coco peat brick. after 15 mins madali na durugin yan. then pwde mo na agad gamitin directly as substrate. may may excess na tubig then ibilad mo ng konti. | |

Ibabad mo lang sa tubig about 10 - 15 minutes (mas maganda kung mainit na tubig ang gagamitin) then pigain mo ng maigi , if the substrate holds the shape after its squeezed then it is perfect.
Note: Never use wood shavings as they are highly abrasive and may contain oils that may be toxic to your tarantula, particularly oils from cedar ..
Sobrang dangerous ung cedar bro.. It's bad for inverts and reptiles.. Tnx
