wanted reef tank

iv been planning to have a reef tank.. can anyone suggest me how to start and what reef to place..? and how big should my tank be to have it done.. tnx..

The size of your tank will depend on you sir, and on your budget, but if you are a newbie to reef tanks, the bigger the better, more stable water parameters, less fluctuations

First of all research about cycling. Usually tumatagal yun for about 2-3 months depende sa water parameters mo. Bili ka ng test kits. During the cycle wala munang fishes and corals. Hintayin mong mag stable ang params. Check on ammonia dapat zero if mataas yun it can kill any livestock. If your planning to go reef as in with corals aside from good params a good protein skimmer for mechanical filtration, kailangan mo din ng strong lights metal halide if possible or go on high oitput t5 bulbs na pang reef hindi yung nabibile lang sa ace. If may gindi clear google mo na lang yung mga terms. Hth and by the way pag reef less ang fishes dahil mdaling maka pollute ng water if madami kang pinapakain at madami ding poop. Mayron din fish na hindi reef safe, meaning puwede nilang kainin yung mga inverts and corals mo.

thank you sir.. i knew it would be hard.. but ill try my best kasi n.attract kasi aq sah reefs.. i need to do more research and save money cause i knw mahal.. ng.canvass nah din aq kung saan mk.bili nang fish, corals, anemone.. and need to be careful what fish to place kasi meron fish daw nah kumakain nang corals.. ^^

Tiyaga lang po and basa basa lang. Basta pagisipan mo muna bago ka bumile wag kang maninwala sa mga sellers ilan lang yung mga trusted. Mas maganda pa din na magresearch ka muna. Basta patience lang para din hindi sayang pera mo and hindi rin kawawa livestocks mo.
