2 of my T's from sir PunkJepoy just molted today, my P.Regalis approx 3" n xa ngayon, and Pterinochilus Murinus. Then napansin ko na ung Brachypelma Ruhnaui ko eh naka tihaya din, usual molting position ng T's so sabi ko ok na ok... then upon checking this evening naka tihaya pa rin xa.

Check ko mabuti then may napansin ako n parang maliliit n white na gumagapang sa abdomen nya. di ko alam kung ano insects un kasi super liit para pa kilala ko. Then iba na ung position ng legs ng Ruhnaui ko, naka tiklop na.... sad... sayang kako.

Any idea guys kung ano naging cause of death ng Ruhnaui ko? saan kaya nangaling ung small insects n un?

Need ko ba palitan regularly ung substrate ng mga T's ko??

Ako nagpapalit ng substrate every 6 months or pag may nakita akong mites. Yung nakita mo na white na insect malamang mites yun TS. Crying or Very sad

pag may nakita ka small insects, (mites) palitan mo agad yung enclo or linisin mo yung current enclo mo. then change mo yung substrate.

thanks guys, check ko isa isa mya ung mga enclo ko, yoko na maulit to. kaka lungkot eh.

mite prevention tips

!. dont leave uneaten food in your enclo (pinka mahalga)

2.keep you enclo clean

3. dont put you enclo near something that may be infested by mites
ex. feeders enclo that sometimes may be infested by mites.

4.usually mites go on uneaten food or dirty substrate!

when you see mites immediate change the substrate, clean the enclo and try to microwave the enclo (even though even if you microwave it mites will still come if th enclo has uneaten food or is dirty)

just checked my other enclos kahapon and find that almost all of them have mites! f@#%!!!!

buti na lang may konti p ako substrate, so kahit mahirap mag lipat ng malilikot na T's sa temp enclo ginawa ko na kesa ma ubos sila.

super tama si sir ivo na ung mga left overs na feeds ung malakas maka attract ng mites, kala ko malinis ung enco ng scorp ko pero after ko i check un ilalim ng water cap n lalagyan ng tubig andun sila lahat and dami nakaka diri tignan.

lesson learned, keep your enclosures clean. put live feeders kung pwde. tanggalin ang left overs. don't keep it super moist kung pwede namn hndi kc mites move moist substrate.

condolence bro. sana palagi mong check yung cocopeat mo kung meron bang mites or wala. para mapalitan agad.
