how to treat galis in cheap way but effective,,

First of all we need to know what is "GALIS" or MITES

Mites in dogs is known generally as Mange and cause severe irritation in dogs with symptoms of inflammation, itching and hair loss. Mites cause their damage by tunneling into the skin via the hair follicles and oil glands of the epidermal layer. Once the dog begins scratching the pruritus, soreness and redness begin to develop leading to crusty skin and scabs. Mites normally live freely in dogs and cats, even humans without ever bothering their host; it is only when the immune system of the host suffers because of any number of circumstances do the mite begin their process of infestation – sometimes causing life-threatening conditions.

Ok eto ang ni recommend sa akin ng Veterinarian client ko during a Film shooting of an animal product tv commercial.

"Ang pinaka mabisang gamot daw dyan ay, SHAMPOO ng MANOK PANABONG o "GAMEFOWL SHAMPOO."
Pero mag-ingat sa pag gamit nito lalu na kung tuta or "puppy" pa lang ang aso ninyo baka malason. Konti konti lang ang gamitin kapag puppy pa lang.

Sabi ko in a previous thread na 3-days lang tanggal na ang galis or "TUYO NA" pero ito ay case to case basis depende kung gaano kalaki yung area ng galis.
Yung sa aso ko noon ay kasing laki ng PLATITO yung galis nya sa tagiliran at bandang likod, pero nung ginamitan ko ng "WASH OUT" (actually kalaban pa ng client yung nabili ko hehehe) gamefowl shampoo,
in 2-days natuyo agad ang galis, in less than a month eh tumubo na ulit ang mga buhok nya sa normal. Ang galing!

Pero kung yung aso ninyo ay maraming area ng galis, gagaling ito sa gamefowl shampoo, yun nga lang it might take sometime kasi marami and you have to spray them regularly.

Ok so far ang na try ko at nabilib ako is yung brand na "WASH OUT" pero there are three brands.

WASHOUT

&

PUSHAM by thunderbird

They all come in single sachets around P20 each.

Ok here's how to use it:

*get a plastic sprayer like this

*fill it up with water

*add gamefowl shampoo and spray directly to the galis area and thats it!

***Paalala ko lang guys, tanchahin ninyo ang dosage. Dati kasi inisprayan ko yung 9 month old dog ko tapos dinilaan nya yung spray sa galis nya bumula yung bibig eh pero hindi naman namatay.
Konting dosage lang sa mga tuta, at para sigurado na rin na hindi nila dilaan yung sprayed area kung gusto ninyong lakasan ang dosage, bumili kayo nung BUSAL yung parang maskara na
kinakabit sa bibig ng aso para hindi makakagat, yung ganito.

i use Ivomec (ivermectin)subcutaneous injection, gets rid of sarcoptic mange + ticks and fleas, and stays parasite free for a couple of months. kahit yung aso mukang galis na tinubuan ng aso na itsura, gumagaling. excercise caution lang in administering, masakit ito. better get the help of a qualified professional kung kailangan, kasi may prescribe dosage/kg body weight,

sir meron yung isang isusuot sa ulo nung aso para hindi nya maabot yung likod nya. yung parang sa lamp shade. (hindi ko kasi alam yung tawag).. kaysa sa busal, nakakaawa naman kasi kung may busal.

i know a good treatment. mix water, some dog shampoo and a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water na pampaligo sa aso.

after bath, towel dry your dog and place some sulfanilamide sa galis-infected areas.

its important na di mo pakakainin ng kahit anung malansa ang aso during the treatment process.

try using sulfur soap for galis babad lang n 5mins sa dog not advisable sa dogs n may white q ng stain yung color try q n yn s dog q lhasa apso ng enhance p color nya may pag k gold kc color ng coat nya
for kuto effective dn sevin halo lang yung wholepack sa cornstarch
apply s dog n dry or wet after bath mmty yung kuto...i had 3 dogs at my house yn powder q sknila khit d q sila mapaliguan ng 1week wala p dn sila kuto may makikita aq 1 or 2 pero patay na =D
