Upper image: Lasiodora klugi
Bahia scarlet birdeater

Lower left image: Lasiodora striatipes
Bahia grey birdeater

Lower right: Lasiodora parahybana
Brazilian salmon pink birdeater

Mga bro, ano sa tingin niyo ang magandang Lasiodora dito sa tatlo? I'm planning to get my first Lasiodora sp. kasi.

I heard fast growers ang mga ito at may maturity up to 2 years? Correct niyo na lang po ako kung may mali.

Share your experiences in keeping them narin at kung may photos please post niyo rin ang mga current Lasiodora sp. ninyo mga sir. Very Happy

Need your opinions and suggestions po mga Master.

go for klugi and parahybana hehehe masarap i pump mode kain lang ng kain kahit malaki na ang abdomen hihinto na lang kapag busog na ahahaha

Dont overfed / power feed pagumabot ng 1 - 2 inch size para walng problema sa molting.. just a friendly reminder.. Wink

Trip ko din dati Klugi at Parahybana kaso na-out ko na. Razz sila un panapat sa Goliath Bird Eater in terms of size.. Twisted Evil

naku masama pala ang power feeding sa T's yung chroma and chaco ko pa naman almost 2" na everyday ko pa pinapakain siguro x3 or x4 mo yung size carapace nila compared to their abdomen sa sobrang kabusugan gusto ko lang naman kasi na umalis na sila sa sling stage kasi d ko pa maappreciate yung ganda ng mga T's kapag slings

Sabi nga ni Sir sen jen, kapag umabot na sa 1inch yung T's stop na sa pag powerfeed dapat.

I got my Chaco nung 2007 at ngayon buhay parin, once a month lang kasi ng pakain ko sa kanya pero dapat may water ang dish niya lagi at weekly ang mist. Razz

Rules to live by:

1. Powerfeed lang hanggang sa matapos ang "sling" stage.

2. Laging may tubig ang water dish

3. Weekly misting (pero depende sa sp. like yung G. rosea ayaw nila ng mataas na humidity, magbubungkal yun ng lupa hihi!)

Wala pa akong experience sa Bird Eaters kaya thanks guys sa pag respond at sana nga at umabot ng 10inches or mahigit pa. Smile

i got L.parahybana and L. klugi parehas matakaw yang dalawa pero siguro pwede naman ata mag power feeding hehe control na lang natin yung laki ng abdomen kapag tingin mo na malapit na sumabog sa sobrang busog abay tama na ang pagpapakain hehe
