sir deckard1313, ganda nyan ah.. kakaiba! thanks for sharing..Baka pwede mo na rin po share ang stories ng bird nyo...

lem, si bella makulit yan. sa umaga nilalabas ko na . kasama sa breakfast table. di ko kc matiis mag almusal na nakikita ko cya ikot ng ikot sa cage. favorite nya, toasted mamon. after breakfast, while naghuhugas ako ng coffee cup, maliligo na cya sa faucet! routine nya yun... di ko cya nilalabas. i dont trust the cats around. masyado tame c bella. kala nya nobody would harm her. one time, sinunggaban na cya ng stray cats.
and yes, she's adorable!

odin sends his thank you...nothing much on the story behind him... na-acquire ko po siya through trade since takot yoong previous owner sa owl kaya I took him in under my care, put him in shape, trained him and give him the best care as much as possible... so far ok naman siya well tempered and friendly owl... eto po pala links sa video ng outdoor training niya (mejo luma lang po wala pa kasi bago wala good cam na magamit) taken at the night of christmas eve..

actually sir literally di po masama ang pagkuha ng animals sa wild "IF" and only "IF" you are responsible for what ever happen to them while they are under your care, you are willing to provide them their needs, you won't neglect them, abuse them, nor hurt them or put them in harm intentionally , you fully understand their importance sa ecosystem and willing to protect their existence and finally treat them with respect at all times... if ganoon po ang layunin eh wala po masama if you took a specimen from the wild.... but you have to be true sa layunin na iyon also dapat eh ready din sa consequences ng actions... btw sir be warned lang po owl are only good for falconry/ flight display but not that effective in hunt compare to diurnal birds also owl are much of a responsibility than other raptors their training are much harder and much trickier than diurnal raptors so better po be prepared for it.... anyway sir good luck with your owl hopefully you raised him/ her well...
p.s. regarding po sa inquiries ninyo I'm pretty sure po na eurasian grass owl or european/ asian grass owl yoong makukuha ninyo scientifc name tyto longimembris w/c mistakenly identified by most of us here in the Philippines as barn owl (tyto alba) magkaiba po iyon huh... well I'm just assumed it is tyto longimembris since two species ( other is the philippine scops owl) ang madalas ang sightings at ma-captured dito specially in luzon areas...

Pros: very malambing, bihira magingay, naisasama kahit san, mas prefer mag lakad kesa lumipad
Cons: ubod ng selosa, maarte sa mga prutas at ibang food, gusto de subo pa. maraming feather powder (normal sa cockatoo), nagfefeather chew dahil sa selos at papansin. ( nagererecover na now)

Pros: panay sunod sakin, pag lumipasd may pa ikot ikot pa sa ibang location na parang hindi pupunta sayo, nakahiga matulog, potty trained, doing tricks on his own
Cons: sobrang ingay, lalo pag may lalaki lalapit sakin,over possessive, nangaaway pag may kaagaw sa cerelac.
