my blood python is not moving that much? something wrong?

compared to my bp..
even night time..
my blood doesnt move that much, and most likely like to hide under the newspaper substrate..
it seem's his breathing is not normal..
kasi kapag bibuklat ko newspaper where she hides, she breath's fast..
then go back to normal..
but she eats regularly..
something wrong with her?

Is your snake tamed? IMHO, your Blood Python becomes nervous kapag binubuksan mo yung enclosure niya. Constant handling might remedy this, also try to place a tight hide.

hi soltero, natural lang sa blood yun deep breathing specially if hindi pa siya used na mahandle. and also blood pythons tends to hide under a layer or two if your substrate is newspaper.

you might also want to put a hidebox para hindi siya under the newspaper

Baka sarap na sarap siya kaya ang lalim huminga hahaha!

Ilapit mo sa tenga mo yung ulo nya at pakinggan mo hinga nya. pag may popping sound sa dulo ng hininga, may R.I. yan.

Pero kung kumakain naman, wala naman sigurong problema, baka hindi lang talaga sanay pa masyado sa tao.

Blood pythons are very lazy creatures.

Kung may time ka, subukan mong obserbahan na hindi alam ng blood mo. Kahit ilang oras mo obserbahan, parang patay at bihira gumalaw, kahit pa sa oras na dapat active na siya.

Mukhang hindi pa sanay sa tao o sa hawak blood mo (at the time of your first post).

Kung wala hide, pwede ka maglagay ng shirt na amoy pawis mo. Sa shirt magtatago blood at masasanay siya sa amoy mo.

Start taming the blood a few days from purchase. You'll see the change in behavior afterwards. Smile
