1. Slash the sting area to let the toxin stream out. This is more likely to do more damage than the sting itself.

2. Amputate the limb.

3. Suck the venom out; this might just increase the chances of infection.

4. Apply tourniquet. Venom spread may hasten upon release. When applied too long the risk of losing the limb increases.

5. Rest and let it wear off instead of going to the physician. This is good if the scorpion is not dangerous. Typically, most envenomation does not last more than 72 hours - that is why traditional medicine is thought to be effective.

yes, good thing (i dont consider it as a good thing though lol, LQ kasi) na sling lang yung nakasting sa kanya, i heard na na-coma for a couple of weeks sa hospital but nakarecover. Be careful sa paghandle ng inverts ninyo, if you respect them, they will do u no harm. its better to be careful than to be sorry Smile
