treat it as you would any turtle..

Basic requirements:

- clean, fresh water changed daily or filtered if there's any
- feeding it every other day (e.g. small guppies, sinking pellets, mealworms, leafy veggies) avoid daily feeding as it may lead to constipation or other intestinal problems
- basking spot; maybe a driftwood or a rock
- sunlight or UV light (very important for keeping any turtle healthy)
- lots of swimming space. rule of thumb: length and depth of enclosure must at least be 4 or 5 times the length of the turtle's carapace
- a substrate to burrow in. turtles love digging!

kahit anung rocks, gravel o pebbles basta dapat mas malaki ung grain particle kesa sa bibig to avoid impaction o pagkalunok ng grain. kung tamad ka mag-linis leave it plain na glass bottom lang
