Power feeding Scorps?

Guys what is your insight in power feeding scorpions? I've read articles about power feeding scorpions but not sure if its healthy to the scorpion,..
they said that Power feeding can be achieved by feeding the scorp until it doesn't accept the food anymore and increasing the temperature of the enclosure to the highest range of the specie, this will increase metabolism thus making the scorpion eat more,..
but on the other hand care sheets and info on scorpions suggest that over feeding might cause problems for scorpions, like being too fat and getting problems in molting,..

but me personally im not for power feeding,.. because it might decrease my pet's life span,.. i just wanna know if my feeding and temp are not close to power feeding them Smile

any insight or experience is greatly appreciated Smile

Most people power feed for breeding purposes. If they have a MF and there are no MM yet for example. But same with people who eat too much they might develop health problems in the long run.

fat scorpions are usually less active than the normal fed scorps.

i guess,.. but generally speaking following the proper feeding schedule will be best for our pets right?
its hard to keep track of when i feed them last, i lost my organizer ksi and every time i see my inverts i always have this urge to feed them haha i always think he/she looks hungry,.. maybe thats bad for my pets?

yes, proper feeding schedule will help prolong their live span.
i feed my inverts 3-4x a month Smile

i see so thats once a week? sir is that for all you're scorpions regardless of age? or iba ung feeding schedule mo when it comes to slings like 4i below?

hndi ako msyado sa scorpion pero sa commune H. hottentotta, R. junceus and H.longi ko, ganun lang feeding schedule ko Smile

yes, khit sa 4i below wala nman issue of cannibalism, so i can safely say na fair lang yung once a week of feeding. ginagawa ko kasi nagbubuhos ako ng 5-10roaches yung hndi makain eh tinatanggal ko after 24hrs..

Sa H.longi, nka experience nako ng bad molt due to powerfeeding, hndi completely natanggal yung molt while turning to 3i. may naiwan pa sa Telson..
