My very first Superworm Beetle (Bred in Captivity)

only 1 out of 25 worms, pero may 2-3 pa nasa process ng pag pupate... yung iba wala pinagbago, buhay pa pero di nag curl, at pumayat na... any tips?

gamit ko to separate them is yung box na maraming partition. Dapat ba may ventilation o wala?

first make sure mo muna na fully grown na sila, and sa pagsseparate dapat yung magiging lalagyan nila yung hndi sila masyadong mkakagalaw.. personally, i use either yung ice cube mold ( ni-nkaw ko yung sa freezer namin wahaha! ) or yung bote ng Yakult ( everyday, okay )..

First breeding ko was a colony of 30+ Beetles, nka produce sila ng more or less, 400 SW Smile

tumagal yung colony for about 4mos, pero pass nung 2nd month di na masyadong productive.. what i recommend, is you make multiple colony of 30 beetles, yun ang ginagawa ko ngyn Smile

ui, di ko naisip yung yakult ah, dami pa naman nung mga bata ng ganun.

lalagyan pa ba ng takip?

Ang gamit ko yung nabibili na carrying case na maraming partition, tapos nilagyan ko ng butas sa taas for ventilation. Kaso parang hindi effective, out of 25, eto lang at may 2 pa na nasa process ng pag pupate.

Since stress ang gagamitin natin against sa kanila para mag pupate, dapat ba walang ventilation?

mtaas nman yun, hndi nila ma-aakyat.. minsan kasi, hndi pa sila gaanong mature to turn to beetles. dpat yung malaking malaki na haha. etong sa batch ng ginawa kong beetles ngyn, 3-4days lang pupa na yung iba..

Tanong ko lang po ilang days maglalay nang eggs yung bettle?

Theres no definite day really, but what others do is every 2-4 weeks nililipat nila yn beetles from a new container with the same substrate like oats. This helps in preventing the beetles from eating the eggs that were laid before, so in the end most likely more SW for you. Very Happy

sir buy delicups or plastic cups mas mura yun and
magagamit mo in the future para sa next batches to make Superworm
beetles..easy to pile and easy to keep if ever pupa na lahat ng

dapat ko na palang iliapat bettles ko... almost 3 weeks na ata cla...

separate ......after 2 weeks Pupa na then after 2 more weeks beetle na sila ... time frame 1 month more or less depende sa condition ng worms and other parameters like temp and etc ...HTH Very Happy

tanong ko lang same lang ba ng way yung SW at MW sa pag separate?
