Radar

The Radar is a combination of the Bell strain albino and the Eclipse. Premium examples of this double recessive morph exhibit solid red eyes, patternless orange body and a tail with a high concentration of orange. This morph can be quite varied in appearance with some animals having snake eyes and a heavily patterned body. Either way it is still regarded as a very rare and desirable morph.

Rainwater Albino Patternless

The Rainwater Albino Patternless is the combination of two recessive genes, the Rainwater strain of albino and the Patternless. Both traits are externally visible with the albino expressing itself by eliminating dark pigment. This ultimately gives the morphs body colors a vivid yellow appearance and a white tail. These are a very clean and striking looking morph.

RAPTOR

The R.A.P.T.O.R. acronym stands for Red-eye Albino Patternless Tremper Orange and is a multi-morph creation that was developed in 2004. It is a combination of the Eclipse, Patternless and Tremper strain of albino. The overall appearance can be quite varied with extreme examples having solid red eyes and an albino patternless orange colored body. These are an awesome looking morph and have become hugely popular.

Red Stripe

The Red Stripe was first discovered by High Quality Reptiles, a Canadian breeder and at the time they had coined their new morph the “Red Racing Stripe”. Through selective breeding their premium Red Racing Stripes developed into geckos exhibiting a yellow orange body with two intense reddish colored stripes running down the dorsal area. Today this morph is simply referred to as a Red Stripe. There can be quite a variation to the morph from intense striping to broken faded out striping. Red Stripe hatchings emerge with brown coloration where the stripe will later develop. It takes this morph approximately six months to fully develop its traits. The Red Strip is a very unique looking morph and we feel fortunate to be working with such a diverse group of these.

Red Stripe Enigma

The Red Stripe Enigma is a striking morph produced by combining the Red Stripe with the Enigma. This morph can be highly varied with some having intense orange/red striping on a light colored body with white tail while others can be a light colored body spattered with reddish orange flecks. One thing that is consistent with the Red Stripe Enigma is the excitement we feel every time we hatch a new baby. This is a morph we are thrilled to be working with.

Red-Eyed Enigma

The Red-Eyed Enigma is a unique looking morph that is produced by combining the Bell strain of albino into the Enigma. The most notable result from merging these two morphs is the eye color. Extreme Red-Eyed Enigmas have an eye color unlike any other morph. They are an albino that appears to have a solid rust colored eye while their body exhibits a highly varied appearance. These are a fun morph to work with and we are pleased to have them as part of our collection.

Sunglow

Imagine a Leopard Gecko with pink eyes, no black pigment, a rich, solid body hue complimented by intense orange coloration. Then add an extreme carrot tail and you have one our breathtaking Sunglows. We have selectively bred the albino (Tremper strain), super-hypomelansitic, carrot tail and our own tangerine bloodline into one incredible gene pool to produce what has been described as one of the most remarkable Leopard Geckos of all time. We created the Sunglow and first introduced it to the public in 2004; we were sold out before these eggs had finished hatching. We’re somewhat flattered that our original Sunglow name has been repeated, because it means that our breeding project has attained a certain level of fame – although there is always only one original. With the continuing evolution of this very special morph, we repeatedly sell out year after year. The Sunglow has clearly become a favorite amongst Leopard Gecko enthusiasts and we expect demand to remain very high for this spectacular morph.

Sunglow Enigma

The Sunglow Enigmas we are now exclusively working have been created by crossing the Urban Gecko Sunglows into Tangerine Enigmas and the results have been nothing short of spectacular. We are producing some very extreme colored geckos that are second to none.

Super RAPTOR

The Super RAPTOR is a Mack Super Snow, Eclipse, Tremper strain of albino and Striped Patternless all combined into one genetic powerhouse of a gecko. This incredible morph has a completely white body and solid ruby red eyes. This morph’s genetic output has proven itself to be a huge asset within our collection here at The Urban Gecko.

Tangerine

In the grand (color) scheme of things, these are showstoppers. Our famous Tangerine gecko bloodline is among the most sought-after bloodlines in the world today. The brilliant tangerine coloration of our line is astonishing, to say the least. We have selectively bred our exclusive lineage to create living jewels that exhibit a striking vibrancy that’s second to none and it’s been said that they’re in a class of their own. Take a moment to browse through the photos and see for yourself what all the excitement is all about - there is no doubt that a tangerine Urban Gecko would be a treasured addition to the most discriminating collection.

Tangerine Enigma

We have taken our world famous Tangerine bloodline and crossed it into the Enigma and through selective breeding have created a truly exceptional breeding group of this highly colored morph. The intense concentration of color in our Tangerine line combined with the enhancing qualities of the Enigma has produced some truly exceptionally colored offspring that we are exciting to be offering to our customers.

Tangerine Tornado

Never seen anything like them? Neither had we. Our fantastic Tangerine group has been years in the making, constantly exceeding our expectations. But the Tangerine Tornado is something new entirely.

Approximately eight years ago, we hatched a few extreme and unique animals from our Tangerine bloodline. What made them different from the rest was an intense red hue that carried all through their bodies and heads. We had never seen anything like it before.

These animals were so special and different from the rest that we decided to create a breeding project dedicated solely to them. And the name? We started to call them our Tangerine Tornadoes because they appeared out of nowhere and left us awestruck.

Before offering them to the public, we wanted to be sure that the same extreme traits were being carried through to the offspring. Not only has this been proven, but the consistency has been unparalleled with any other projects we have worked on before. The Tangerine Tornado will be available in a strictly limited number. They are an absolute must-have in the gecko world.

TUG Snow

If there’s an absolute ideal for this type of morph, we think this is it. We acquired this incredible gene pool as a wild-caught group several years ago and we have been selectively breeding them ever since. The TUG Snow is a type of axanthic, a genetic trait where the subject has little or no yellow pigment. In most cases this trait has been proven to be co-dominant but in our group, it’s dominant. Our exclusive Snows are unrelated to any other Snow lines known in captivity, boasting incredible white coloration and reduced black spotting. This is a unique and special bloodline that remains in very high demand and we feel fortunate that it is an Urban Gecko exclusive.

TUG Snow Enigma

The TUG Snow Enigma has been created by crossing the rare TUG Snow line with light colored Enigmas. The results have been a white to light yellow colored gecko with highly variable patterns. We have produced a number of very unique looking offspring from our colony and it always makes hatching time particularly exciting not knowing exactly what is going to emerge from the egg. This is a morph that we really enjoy working with.

Typhoon

The Typhoon is the Rainwater strain of albino, the Patternless and the Eclipse all combined into one amazing gecko. It is the Rainwater Albino version of the RAPTOR (Tremper Albino) and Radar (Bell Albino) and was the last of the three albino strains to be combined into the Eclipse and Patternless.

White and Yellow

The White and Yellows first appeared randomly in a European collection in 1996 and until recently were not available in North America. They are a dominant trait and when first discovered the offspring seemed to have a high concentration of white or yellow, which later coined the name White and Yellow. Some of their distinct features include high white sides, a large white band on the nape of their neck, dorsal striping, bright white tails, high contrast colors, faded and reduced spotting. Although the White and Yellows are not a new morph very little work has been done with them to date. However the little work that has been done with them has proven some interesting results. It’s believed that the White and Yellows have an enhancing quality when combined into other morphs similar to that of the Enigma. We are thrilled to be working with a large group of these and can hardly wait to see the results from the combination we have slated with this morph.
