May idea kayo kung paano alagaan? Or kung sino nakapag alaga na? Very Happy

nakapag-alaga nako neto a lot of times in the past.. pag nagbrown-out at walang oxygen natakas sila sa aquarium ko haha..

they can be kept peacefull with fast swimming fishes or bottem dwelling fishes na same size sa kanila or mas malaki (just make sure na di naman siya ang kakainin ng isda).

i've noticed na they have a mutual relationship with plecostomus sp.(i.e. janitor fish) wherein nililinis ng plecostomus ung carapace ng fortune lobster for algae growths na di siya sinisipit.

nag-molt din ung akin twice in a year. just provide hiding places kasi vulnerable siya during and after molting.

wala naman siyang special feeding since kahalo siya sa community tank ko of fishes.

patay na isda napansin kong favorite na pagkain ng fortune lobster. usually ung mga fish food like sinking pellets pwede na once daily

yup they're the same. a simple case of misnaming that's popular in our country only a different color/morph or a different breed.

They are voracious piece of creature but they should not be fed mostly with animal stuffs such as fishes and worms..these food items are really rare find for them and their diet should be mostly greens (i feed mine kangkong and sometimes squash and green peas). the male left in my care is very calm and won't hurt though I prevent touching them directly. Smile

I bought them overpriced eh..but they are more intensely colored than the ones I saw na Blue crawdad din..
I bought mine for 350php for God's sake. Hahaha.
Then I saw a less intense blue crawdad worth 220php.
Now I am eyeing on the white crawdad (they say rarer than the blue ones).
They are sold for 150php only.
Not bad compared to my electric blue one.

go with the blue ones. Smile

they are great looking. Smile

although the white ones are way way better for me.
rare find ang white and blue is getting more common now. thumbs up

Yup..cooler water somehow simulate their living conditions since they live in lakes and in crevices away from light and warmth.
And light seems to agitate them (hmmm..vampires..) due to photosensitivity.
They aren't as picky as I thought..

just feed boiled carrots to fortune lobster, christmas crabs and hermits crabs. beta-carotene in their diet enhances the red color drastically
