basic facts: pig nosed turtle is a highly aquatic turtle, it get it's name from it's snout that resemble a pig's nose

range: Northern Australia, South New Guinea, South Papua New Guinea, Indonesia

size: 22 inches, and can weight up to 20 kg

set up: 6 ft of clear water, with gravel and sand as substrate with a thin layer of silt and leaf litter

diet:herbivore, but will also eat snails, shrimps, insects and carrion of fish and mammals
