| Green crested lizard (Bronchocela cristatella) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Habitat: on the verges of rain forests, diurnal Size: up to 60 cm Life Expectancy: over 10 years Reproduction: lays 1-2 spindle-shaped eggs. Incubation period at 30°C about 60-70 days. Temperature: temperature between 26-28°C, local heat spots up to 33°C. Night setback to 20-23°C. Nitrogen susceptible. Humidity: 80-95% Lighting: Daylight fluorescent tubes, if necessary UV tubes. Substrate: loose, absorptive substrate. Cage Furniture: climbing facilities, a nature- or a structural-background is recommended. Bark to hang around. Various hiding places and a large water tank (possibly even an Aqua terrarium) make up the basic configuration of the terrarium. Food: Insects (e.g. cricktets, house crickets, grasshoppers, cockroaches, superworms, mealworms etc.) A large terrarium is required. Groups should include one male at most.

| meron akong 2 GCL. pero namatay ang isa. more than a month rin yung pag-alaga ko. na notice ko na pag maliit ang cage mo, parang d cla comfortable at dahil sa cla ay wild animal, tendency is d comfortable sa tao. kaya ang ginawa ko, nilagay ko ang natira sa isang d masyadong mataas na puno.1 week na at nandyan pa rin xa. meron kasing GCL na d kumakain kapag nasa enclosure. kaya mostly sa mga nababasa ko, namamatay yung GCL nila.. | 20 gal pwede na sa kanila. dahil sa climate change hindi mo na masasabi kung gano sila katagal magbababad sa ilalim ng araw. so kung magbabask ka ng GCL bantayan mo nalang or half naka bilad n half nasa lilim. | |

thank you sir tattoo. kaso until now hindi sila kumakain on their own. i need to feed them manually pa. any tips sir to urge them to eat? | |
